‘Kahu Retreat’ is situated on a quiet residential estate on the outskirts of the town of Nairn. The property is within easy walking distance of both east and west beaches, Culbin Forest and Nairn Dunbar Golf Club.


'Kahu retreat' is an attractive and modern detached bungalow completed in 2005.
The property is situated on a quiet crescent with no through traffic. The estate is primarily 'low rise' and very spaced out so there is a real feeling of 'open space'. The property attains all day sunshine and is not overlooked.
ThThe house itself is fully equipped with all 'mod cons' to include, Widescreen LCD HD Digital Television, Sky+ HDD Recorder, Blueray DVD player, X Box LIVE, wireless broadband connection with 'guest' access via a Sony widescreen PC (running Windows Vista).

The house is well stocked with Books and a selection of board games should the weather preclude outdoor pursuits! Additional Television equipment is also located in the master bedroom.

The modern kitchen contains a gas cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, crockery, glassware, pans and the usual kitchen utensils. The washing machine is also situated here whilst a clothes dryer is located in the garage.
The property will accommodate up to four persons comfortably and consists of two double bedrooms (configuration being one double and one twin). In addition the 'sofa' in the lounge can be converted into an additional bed so accommodation for up to 5 is achievable. The bathroom contains a shower over bath arrangement, toilet, sink and mirror (there is also a separate toilet off the entrance vestibule). An iron and ironing board are also available if required.
Being a modern property it comes well insulated with central heating fitted throughout. There is also a gas fire installed in the lounge.
Off street parking is available for up to two cars (on driveway).
Garage access is available for the storage of golf equipment etc but is not available for car parking. Rear garden is equipped with outdoor furniture and BBQ equipment is available.

This property should be easily accessible for wheelchair users due to the fact that all the accommodation is on one level and there is a flat pathway leading from the drive to the entrance vestibule.

2010/11 Tariff (in UK Pounds Sterling)
Rates range between £350-£550 per week and are dependant upon season (see schedule below). NB Discounts available for multi-week bookings (please e-mail for further information).
Rates are 'fully inclusive' with no 'additional' charges to be levied.

A deposit of 20% is payable upon booking with the balance due no later than two months prior to arrival. If the FULL amount is paid at the time of reservation a 10% discount will be applied (ONLY applies to bookings made two months in advance of arrival date).
NB Rental cost per week is irrespective of number of occupants and includes gas, electricity, towels and bedding. Bookings run from Saturday afternoon until Saturday morning with check in being after 4pm and check out at or prior to 10am.
Cancellation charges as specified below;
- From time of booking until two months prior to arrival flat 20% cancellation fee
- Between two months and two weeks prior to arrival 50% cancellation fee
- No refund will be given if reservation cancelled within two weeks of arrival date
Payment via cheque, UK draft or PayPal (credit cards via PayPal system)
Please be advised this property is NOT suitable for pets of any kind and is NON-SMOKING.
NB There is some building work going on to the rear of the property. Feedback thus far is this is not causing issues with people's enjoyment of the property. That said, if you have any questions then please ask before you commit to a reservation. |
