Situated in its own grounds well away from the main thoroughfare the hotel is surrounded by spacious lawns and recreation areas.

The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere: ideal for the family holiday, children can stay accommodation 'FREE' sharing their parents' room.

There are 25 bedrooms all with private bathrooms, colour T.V., radio, baby listening, tea and coffee making facilities, and comfortable beds with electric blankets.

Residents lounge with colour T.V., sun lounge and attractive bar to relax and unwind in.

The spacious restaurant is well known for its excellent cuisine and varied menus, and for those not wanting full dinner there is an extensive bar menu to choose from.

The lounges, dining room and several bedrooms command glorious views across the golf course and Moray Firth towards Ross-shire and the Sutherland Hills.

Recreation facilities abound and one can have a relaxing round on the Putting Green, an exacting game of Tennis or Pool in the games room.

Practice Golf Area and an outdoor heated Swimming Pool are some of the other facilities available.

The golden sand shores of the Moray Firth are about 200 yds from the hotel and access is by way of a path across the golf course.

This part of the beach, which is safe at all states of the tides is used almost exclusively by guests of the Alton Burn.
